Known locally as the <a href=\"https:\/\/mitraprodin.com\/the-happy-factory\/\">Happy Factory<\/a>, its reputation for valuing employee happiness and wellbeing is famous.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not just the all-female workforce and its focus on female empowerment and workplace equality, or the free fitness and laughing yoga classes. It\u2019s also the focus placed upon friendship, inclusion, and kindness, part of the Mitra Prodin mission to build a workplace that reflects the kind of world we want to live in.<\/p>\n<p>The factories are made up of workers from all over Indonesia with Balinese people making up the largest part of the workforce, representing almost 75% of workers. There are also employees from Nusa Tenggara, Java, with a small number of staff members coming from Jakarta, Sulawesi, Yogyakarta, Kalimantan, Lampung, Kepulauan Riau, and Jambi.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>With a diverse mix of people, the factory is home to a rich combination of cultures and religious beliefs. A workforce survey revealed that 75% of the team identify as <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Balinese_Hinduism\">Hindu<\/a>, 11% as <a href=\"https:\/\/simple.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Catholicism#:~:text=Catholicism%20is%20the%20traditions%20and,than%201.1%20billion%20Catholics%20worldwide.\">Catholic<\/a>, 8% as <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Islam\">Muslim<\/a>, 6% as <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Christianity#:~:text=Christianity%20is%20an%20Abrahamic%20monotheistic,with%20about%202.4%20billion%20followers.&amp;text=Christianity%20began%20as%20a%20Second,the%20Roman%20province%20of%20Judea.\">Christian<\/a>, and a very small percentage as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/topics\/religion\/buddhism#:~:text=Buddhism%20is%20a%20faith%20that,of%20the%20major%20world%20religions.&amp;text=Many%20Buddhist%20ideas%20and%20philosophies%20overlap%20with%20those%20of%20ohttps:\/\/www.history.com\/topics\/religion\/buddhism#:~:text=Buddhism%20is%20a%20faith%20that,of%20the%20major%20world%20religions.&amp;text=Many%20Buddhist%20ideas%20and%20philosophies%20overlap%20with%20those%20of%20other%20faiths.ther%20faiths.\">Buddhist<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalgeographic.org\/encyclopedia\/confucianism\/#:~:text=Confucianism%20is%20an%20ancient%20Chinese,of%20personal%20ethics%20and%20morality.&amp;text=Confucianism%20is%20a%20philosophy%20and,from%20551%20to%20479%20B.C.E.\">Confucian<\/a>.<\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mitra Prodin believes in supporting every worker in their faith and culture. Along with prayer rooms and temples devoted to each religion, the factory also accommodates Ramadhan fasters by providing a break room with mattresses for workers to rest on. And of course, food preparation areas and the canteen are strictly without pork products.<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s not all. The Happy Factory is the envy of workers all over Indonesia, as it observes all religious and national Balinese and Indonesian holidays. That\u2019s a lot of holidays!!<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s part of Mitra Prodin\u2019s commitment to community building, through respect for each other, and lifelong friendships that span across all cultures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Happy 20th Birthday Mitra Prodin!
