Stunting, a silent epidemic affecting millions of children worldwide, has far-reaching consequences for their physical and cognitive development. At Mitra Prodin, we believe that corporate social responsibility is more than just a corporate obligation; it’s an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of those in need.

This year, we partnered with the 1000 Days Fund to implement a community empowerment program in Ban Village, Karangasem, Bali. Our goal? To combat stunting using a stunting intervention strategy through Posyandu Cadres with a Behavioral Change Communication approach.
Ban Village was selected as the focus of our program due to its high stunting rate of 18.75% and 19% of our employees are from Karangasem. By working closely with the local community, we aim to create a lasting impact on the lives of villagers, particularly the children who represent the future generations.

Through this collaboration, we hope to empower the community to take control of their health and well-being. By addressing the root causes of stunting, we can break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for the children of Ban Village.
