Mitra Prodin community support Yayasan Taman Permata Hati, a lifeline for children who need extra community support. The organization runs after-school programs for children who are orphaned, or only have one parent. From Monday to Saturday, Ibu Ayu can be found running after-school programs for the children, designed to rebuild their confidence and joy in life. The program activities include ballet, prayer, yoga, mathematics, chess, music, dance, and orchestra.
Ibu Ayu has devoted her life to making sure these kids are happy and well supported in the community. She is determined to build skills, on top of those they learn at school so that they have a future full of options and possibilities.
She also supports the kids’ well-being and emotional health, stepping in as a counselor for children who have faced unimaginable hardship. She talks to them about the loss of their parents, the struggles of their everyday life as orphans, or just what happened at school that day.
Over the past two years, Mitra Prodin community support has been helping Ibu Ayu fund this good work, by sponsoring her operational costs which include air conditioning, electricity, water, food, and drinks for the kids.
